These sessions must be done sequentially, with the first session being the foundation, the second session being the walls of our financial house and the third session being the roof of our financial houses.
I want to compare the first three sessions to the building or construction of a house with the scripture in Proverbs 24 verse 3 – 4, “Through wisdom a house is built and by understanding it is established, by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”
The same way we build our financial houses, by understanding and implementing God’s principles, we can now fill our rooms with God’s riches!

We base our solutions on the Debt Snowball effect
These sessions must be done sequentially with the first session being the foundation, the second session the walls of our financial house and the third session the roof of our financial houses.
I want to connect the first three sessions to the building or construction of a house with the scripture in Proverbs 24 verse 3 and 4: “Through wisdom a house is built and by understanding it is established, by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”
The same way we build our financial houses, by understanding and implementing God’s principles, we can now fill our rooms with God’s riches.
In this session, we help people recognise the influence that mammon has on our finances.
In the second session, we look at building the walls of our financial house with strong material.
In this session, we discover the most amazing principle of the Kingdom of God.
A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.
You see friends; I realised that I was robbing God left, right and centre and that if I wanted to worship God with my/His finances, I had to do it 100% right according to His word.
I had to pay God first and bring the Tithe to His storehouse, then only could I pay myself and live on the rest. But see friends, that is God’s way while in the world, we are taught the upside-down way.
Pay your liabilities first and live off the rest, and if there is something left, you save it and pay yourself. Then only if there is a little bit left, we give it to God last. I remember thinking to myself:
“That was exactly the way Cain gave his offering to God.” God always needs to come first in your life, not last!
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and he adds no sorrow to it.
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.
In the first session, we help people recognise the influence that mammon has on their finances.
Mammon influences us in many different ways; in Matthew 6 verse 24, Jesus himself said that no one could serve two masters for you will hate one and love the other or you will be loyal to one and despise the other. This reference to mammon by Jesus is definitely not money or possessions as the NLT translation suggests.
We discover who mammon really is and what he strives to accomplish in our lives, he wants our loyalty and for us to serve him through money, but he is cunning and shrewd and comes with deception. He does not come knocking at our doors saying: “My name is mammon, serve me.” No, he comes in a disguised way.
Once that is done, we need to repent for each and every single one of the influences that mammon has on our finances. Once we have done this, a part of the foundation is laid, and our walk to financial freedom and a blessed life will start to become a reality in our lives.
Now we look at building the walls of our financial house with strong material.
To build a strong house, we are not going to use inferior material. Therefore, we need to establish our faith and know that God really loves us and wants to take care of us. In fact, Jesus told us six times in Matthew 6 verse 25 – 34 to stop worrying, but instead, seek the Kingdom of God first.
God loves us more than sparrows; we don’t see sparrows worry about their provision on a daily basis, but rather the sparrow knows his source of provision, whereas man seems to confuse his source of provision with his channel of provision. The channel with which God chooses to connect us with our provisions, is our work, our jobs, our parents, or our investments etc. but we have to start distinguishing between the source, the place and the channel of our provision. In this session, we will teach you the difference.
God says in His word, that without faith it is impossible to please Him. Yes, friends without sparrow faith we could also not build the strong walls of our financial houses.
In this session we discover the most amazing principle of the Kingdom of God.
God gave us Jesus so that we could inherit eternal life and also become Christ-like in our giving. Jesus is God’s very own firstfruits, given to us by Father God.
Therefore we can also give because God gave first and He gave us Jesus while we were still sinners. We have this amazing opportunity to give back to God. We honor God first with our finances because God always comes first. When God comes first in my relationships, prayer, faith and financial life, the other things will fall into place.
This one simple act of giving to God unlocks the seven supernatural promises of God. We all want the supernatural promises of God, but without doing the one natural thing God asks us ? God does not operate like that! God provides food to the sparrows, but they still have to work and go search for it. Once we have completed our financial house’s construction with a proper foundation, very strong walls and a proper roof (Tithing), it will withstand all the storms.
Session four marks the start of the real money matters.
By now, we have begun to understand more about God’s divine principles and ancient paths for finances, because we have done the foundational work. To live a life over-debted is living a life on the presumption that you’re going to live long enough to settle that debt. It is not normal to have no debt these days, most have it, and people have become so used to this abnormal behaviour.
More than two hundred and forty four years ago, debt was not a normal thing; from when America was founded in 1776 until 1980, one trillion dollars was made in debt, the next 1 trillion dollars of debt, took only another 6 years, by 1990 America was already at 3 trillion US dollars of debt and by the turn of the century in the year 2000, it was at 8 trillion dollars of debt. Today the USA government debt is at a staggering 24 trillion US dollars and growing by 45 486 US dollars per second. The accumulative world debt this year is 250 trillion US dollars, while the accumulative world GDP is only 99 trillion US dollars. The world consumes far more than it produces. We see thousands of people dying of hunger every day. USA debt is sitting at 200% of GDP, while South African wage earners already spend on average 72% of their disposable income on debt, and this figure is growing.
There was never a bigger call from God to get out of debt and live a debt-free stress-free life. We explore the options to get rid of one’s debt once and for all, by using the “Debt Snowball Method.”
In this session, we look at getting on a proper plan after we get out of debt.
If we are not going to get onto a plan, which is the budget, the logical thing is to take on more debt after we got out of debt in the first place. The reason people do this is mostly because they misunderstand the budget, and see it as a negative and difficult thing to do! We need to make budgeting simple and easy to do. That is why we need to do it God’s way, and that is to explore the scriptures and see why is it important for us, when is it important for us, what to do and how to do it?
Amazingly most of God’s people up to now missed His instruction on budgeting given to an ungodly nation thousands of years ago. We will be exploring those scriptures and apply that to our lives and situations. Then we will ask: “God, how much is enough for me?”, “God, what items should be excluded from my budget?” and “God, what do you see as wasteful and unnecessary spending in my current budget?” And then with God’s help and approval, we get rid of all unwanted spending, close our budget and put it in His circle of blessing. Then we make budgeting fun and worthwhile because we don’t do it for ourselves but for God.
Not being on a budget, is like not planning for something, and if we fail to plan, we plan to fail.
In this session, we teach you to become a manager instead of an owner.
This command was given by God in Genesis 2:15 to tend and keep the garden, and then later on in verse 23, God says we must till the ground. God never intended to make us owners but rather managers or stewards. The earth and it’s fullness belong to God and not to me, the moment we realise this truth is the moment we could start to live life in the fullness that God has for each and every one of His children. Surely there must be a reason why God wants to provide for us in abundance?
In Old Testament times, the church took care of God’s poor people, sadly today some churches will not do so, or simply do not have the resources to do it, because God’s people stand back and expect only governments to take responsibility. God builds His church and His kingdom on earth with or without me, but He really wants to include me. I’ve missed out on this for 45 years of my life, and now God is welcoming me in, to join Him in building His Kingdom with His provision and finances. God wants to provide for me with an overflow for His Kingdom. And God has much to give, but He is looking for men and women that are worthy of trust. We could see ourselves as change agents, raised up by God to bring change. God can provide this for sure, but He is looking for stewards to bless so that they could be a blessing to the people in need.
Will you join me on this God-given adventure to become the man or woman that God is looking for?
